Buck Carson is on his way to deliver a valuable deed, when he is ambushed by Clem Porter and his gang. Back at the El Rio Rancho, Betty Castlear, lets her horse go into the desert because it has been picked by Lt. Bob Gray for the Cavalry. When Carson goes to retreive the horse he stumbles onto Porter and his gang. With the aid of Pancho Gonzales, Carson manages to recover the deed and save Betty and her friend June who have been taken as hostages by Porter.
