Bad Man from Red Butte - #VHS1266
|
Starring Johnny Mack Brown and Bill Cody.
An outlaw boss Hal Benson and his killer henchman Gil Brady are holding a tight reign on the town of Cripple Creek. Buck Halliday (Johnny Mack Brown) rides into town with two sidekicks (Bob Baker and Fuzzy Knight) to help an old friend save his ranch, which Benson and Brady are trying to steal away. Buck soon has a run in with Gil, who turns out to be his own twin brother (played also by Johnny Mack Brown in a dual-role). When Gil later turns up dead, Benson puts the blame on Buck and he is narrowly saved from the lynch mob by his two sidekicks. Buck and his friends must now find a way to prove that Benson is the guilty party. Also features an appearance by Texas Jim Lewis and his Lone Star Cowboys.
