A mysterious reincarnation of a Yaqui god called Don Del Oro was inciting the natives to rebellion in order to take over California for his own purposes. Don Del Oro was in reality one of several suspect council members. Zorro, an expert with a gun or a whip, manages to survive avalanches, explosions, flooded tunnels and collapsing bridges, in order to reveal Don Del Oro's true identity.
