Starring Johnny Mack Brown and Bob Baker.
Johnny Mack's second starring western for Universal. On the eve of his honeymoon with new bride Janet Rankin (Anne Gwynne), homesteader Jeff McLeod (Johnny Mack Brown) is thrown into jail at the behest of villain George Frazier (James Blaine). It's the opening of the Cherokee Strip and the Rankins are after a particular section. Frazier is also after the same section and has hired outlaws to make sure he gets it. It takes some doing, but McLeod finally manages to elude his captors, reclaim his land and find lasting happiness with his missus. Writer/director Ford Beebe keeps this oater constantly on the move, which doesn’t let the actors - or the audience - catch their breath.
