Denby is after the Wilson ranch because he knows that there is oil there. He kills Wilson and ambushes Bret Travis, who along with Judy Wilson, are part owners of the Wilson ranch. When the Range Busters get word on the goings on of the villains, they go undercover to catch Denby and his gang.
