This is a nostalgic roundup of veteran movie stars, brought together for a rousing western comedy send-up. A group of elderly ex-Rangers (Pat O'Brien, Walter Brennan, Andy Devine, Edgar Buchanan and Chill Wills) reunite to clean up a small Texas town besieged by political corruption. When the graying lawmen realize their physical powers aren't what they used to be, the Over-the-Hill Gang uses their brains and bravado to run off the bad guys (who include Jack Elam). Fun for the whole family.
