Marshall of Gunsmoke.
Ward (Tex Ritter) is a U.S. Marshall going to round up a group of bandits that are attempting to rig the local elections. Tex Ritter is remembered as much for his music as for his films. He began his movie career in the mid-thirties, and as a singing cowboy is second only to Gene Autry in popularity.
