Raiders of the Borders - #VHS1289
|
Starring Johnny Mack Brown and Raymond Hattton.
Saddle pals Nevada and Sandy (Johnny Mack Brown and Raymond Hatton) return to the screen as US marshals. These heroes are hot on the trail of cattle rustlers. To rout out the thieves, Nevada poses as a cook and Sandy pretends to be hard of hearing. With more than cattle on their minds, the criminals are trading their stolen goods for priceless jewels. Johnny Mack Brown, true to character, avoids all romantic entanglements with Ellen Hall, thus allowing Craig Woods and Ms. Hall to handle the smooching and handholding. The film was adapted from a short story by Johnston McCulley, of "Zorro" fame.
